ACROBAT READER INFORMATION

Adobe® Acrobat® Reader™ is free, and freely distributable, software that lets you view and print Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files on all major computer platforms (operating systems).

The following steps are involved in downloading Acrobat Reader (free viewer).

To download this program, go to www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html

There will be four choices:

Select the choice, 'Get Acrobat Reader free!'.

The next page allows you to 'Download Adobe Acrobat Reader' (Version 5).

There will be Step 1, Step 2, and Step 3

In Step 1, select your platform (e.g. operating system) such as Windows 98, etc.

In Step 2 (optional step), you will need to enter your name, E-mail address, and country.

In Step 3, click on the red 'Download' button.

You will then download a file, 'ar500enu.exe' or a similar file about 8 megabytes in size

After you download the file, open Windows Explorer or My Computer and double click on the file.
Follow directions to install software.
