Monthly News

Our Sunday School meets at 9:15 on Sunday mornings. We welcome all singles to come join us for Bible Study, Fellowship, and Worship.

October 2008 Update

Fall is here and soon God will paint our area a beautiful patchwork of colors!! Please enjoy God's Masterpiece and thank Him for it!! October will be a busy and important month for our class!!

We have adopted the younger singles group. Please pray for them and our class as we take on this new project.

Women's Ministry - On Oct. 23 there will be a Women's Extravaganza in the Fellowship Hall at 6:30. Kelly McCorkle Parkinson will be the speaker--former Miss SC and was on "Amazing Race". Tickets $10.

Yard Sale - Oct. 11 we will have our Fall Yard Sale in the ROC from 8-1. Set-up and donation receiving will be from 4-8 pm on the 10th. We need HELP!! Please call friends and family to ask for donations and remember your own!!

Class Meeting - On Monday, Oct. 13th we will have our meeting at the Ministry House at 7 pm. Please come for WMU, Prayer Group, and planning time. Lil' Rebel at 6 if you want to share supper together.

Day Trip --We are really enjoying our day trips and will try to continue them every month or so. Sat. Oct. 25th we plan to go to Dillard House in Ga. for lunch. The price will depend on the number going so we are asking a deposit of $15 apiece by Sunday, Oct 12th to reserve your place. We THINK the meal will be around $25 ---a family style serving of 3 or 4 meats with all the trimmings and dessert.

High Attendance Sunday - The 26th we want to have at least 12 but want more of you there!!

Mission Project for Oct. - Big Thursday Items, Peanut Butter and Jelly for Greer Relief. The deadline will be Oct 29th. There is a basket in the atrium for our items.

October Birthday - Oct. 9th Sandy, 30 Sylvia.
