Fairview Children's Ministry

 

The Children's Ministry of Fairview Baptist is dedicated to partnering with families as they lay a spiritual foundation for their children.  We believe children matter to God and we seek to help lead every child into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.  Our goal is to also provide a vibrant place for them to grow spiritually. 

We call ourselves the ALL STARS Team!  We want God's light to shine through our children and our ministry exists to:
Share Christ with the children of our community, to
Teach them how to follow Christ, to help them
Advance in their spiritual maturity, and
Recognize their spiritual gifts, and to also
Support parents in their roles as children's faithtrainers.

We choose a variety of activiites and opportunities to reach and teach our ALL STARS:
Bible Study
   Sunday School, 9:15am, Sundays
   Discipleship Classes, 6:00pm, Sundays
   Children's Choirs, 6:15pm, Wednesdays

Missions
   Wednesday Night Missions Groups (RA's and GA's), 7:00pm
   Mission Outreach Opportunities

Outreach
   Vacation Bible School, June 8-12, 2008
   Family Matters Workshops (Parenting/Spiritual Training)
   Care4Kids Outreach Emphasis
   Summer Day Camp (1 week), July 28-Aug. 1
