Sept. 2011 Update
This month a new church year begins and our church goes thru some changes, let’s pray that God will continue to bless us and hold us in His Loving Arms in the direction He has planned for us. As we celebrate the offering for the building fund, let’s get ready for our Singles’ Fall Yard Sale on Oct. 1st so we can contribute our first $500 from the sale to this debt. Let’s all work together!!
Bible Study – Ginger will continue leading us in the study of Genesis. There is so much to learn from this beginning book of the Bible. Come and learn with us at 9:30 am in Room 120 every Sunday.
Labor Day – Come celebrate together at Mutt’s at 5 pm.
Chat and Chew – On Sat. Sept. 10th at 5:30 pm at the Ministry House. Bring a favorite dish and bring prospects!! We always enjoy this time together!!
Class Meeting – On Mon., Sept. 12th we will meet at the Ministry House for our WMU, prayer time, and planning time at 7 pm. Come as we need everyone there!! Come to the Clock Express at 6 pm if you want to share supper.
Young At Heart – Be sure and sign up if you want to hear the Yesteryukes and have a great supper on Tues. the 13th in the Fellowship Hall. Cost for supper is $6.00.
Out to Eat ---On Thursday the 15th at 5:30 the mini-bus will leave for Stax’s on Woodruff Road. If you want to meet us there we should be there a little before 6 pm. Bring prospects!!
Webb Family Concert at Fairview at 6 pm on Sun., Sept. 18th. Come and enjoy this musical treat. A loving offering will be taken.
On Friday Sept. 30th we will meet at the gym and take in donations beginning around 4 till 8 for our Fall Yard Sale. We will need everyone to come at least for part of this time plus bring any helpers you can. Then on Saturday Oct. 1st our sale will be from 8 am to 1 pm. Salvation Army will pick up around 2. We will also need extra helpers for the clean up between 1-2.
Mission Project for Sept. – Big Thursday items and Paper Products for Daily Bread Ministries (no bathroom tissue is needed). Deadline Sept. 25 ---place in baskets in the atrium.
